I have a group of girls that take turns hosting a workshop each month, last night was Cindy D's turn. The 2 cards below are the cards I demonstrated: Card #1: The clouds and balloon basket are created with the Cupcake Punch and the balloon is created with the Wide Oval Punch. Notice the stenciled clouds in the background? Those are stenciled by creating the clouds using the Scallop Circle Punch. Punch one and position on your background. Using a Sponge Dauber, sponge around the top of the stencil. Move the stencil around as much as you want clouds in your background and create multiple clouded areas: Card Supplies:

Card #2:


I used the Cupcake Punch to make a cupcake this time. I embossed the Top Note Die shape and the cupcake liner with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder:

  • Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon

Card #3-Make n Take:


The girls all created this card and got to take it home with them.


This card incorporates a scallop circle flower. Stay tuned in the next few days as I'll post the tutorial on how to complete one. Even though this card has numerous layers, it is quite easy to create. Supplies are listed below. I purposely left the card without a sentiment so it can be used for different occasions or you can quickly add a sentiment if needed.


Create "faux thread" by cutting small slivers of cardstock and threading it through your button holes. Secure with "Mini Glue Dots" in the back!
