Good morning blog readers. I have a sketch challenge to show you this morning from Create with Connie & Mary: So many elements to pick from. I wanted to make sure my card wasn't overly busy. I don't like clutter in my cards. I think I achieved that in this card:

I started out by embossing my "Melon Mambo" cardstock layer with the new "Flower Garden Impresssions Folder". I carefully positioned my folder so that the flower image would be embossed horizontally. I also opted to use hearts for some of my elements. Hearts are not just for Valentine's:

  • Cardstock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Concord Crush
  • DSP: Brights Patterns Paper Pack
  • Accessories: Rhinestone Jewels, Satin Ribbon in Old Olive
  • Tools: Heart Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Flower Garden Impressions Folder
  • Inks: Concord Crush
  • Stamp Set: Word Play
