Okay, this is the last of the projects that we created at Jeannine's Downline Play Date. Yes, I told you we had a full packed day and what fun we had! This is a new type of card for me. It is called a "Telescoping Card" and you'll see why in a minute:
We started out by assembling the first circle:
1st circle supplies:
- Scallop Circle Die in Wild Wasabi
- 3" Circle Die in Pacific Point
- 2 1/2" Circle Punch in Whisper White
- Stamp Set: Touch of Kindness
- Inks: Basic Black, Stampin' Write Markers
- Accessories: 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Daffodil Delight
We then added two more circles to our 1st layer. By attaching all 3 circles together, you can actually turn each circle until it neatly tucks behind the first circle as shown in the first photo. Once the recipient receives this card, he/she "telescopes" it by rolling the other two circles until they are visible. Cute idea huh?
Circle #2 supplies:
- 3" Circle Die in Daffodil Delight
- 2 1/2" Circle Punch in Whisper White
- Stamp Set: Touch of Kindness
- Inks: Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point
- Tools: Blender Pen
Circle #3 supplies:
- 2 1/2" Circle Punch in Tangerine Tango
- 1 3/4" Circle Punch in Whisper White
- Stamp Set: Touch of Kindness
- Inks: Basic Black
Attached each circle with a brad!
