Yesterday morning I received an email from Diane Harris, the very fun interactive editor at Quiltmaker Magazine.

She told me all about the New Quiltmaker’s Block Network that was just launched this week. Have you heard about it?

They are doing free videos showing techniques and giving free block patterns and instructions for various designs from Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks. There will be a new video posted each week on Monday. Carolyn's first video went up this past Mondayand we've gotten about 2000 views and I’m pretty excited about it.

And I want to spread the news so you can check it out too! Click HERE for Quiltmaker’s Block Network (QBN for short) to view the first video, Easy Triangle Squares: Mark, Cut and Sew. It features Carolyn and her Tweet Street block. She gives great setting ideas at the end. It's less than four minutes long so it packs a punch!

Those of you wanting to particpate in this year’s Split 9 Patch Leader & Ender challenge might find this tutorial helpful for doing your half-square triangles with different methods! Be sure to give this a view!
