It's your lucky day! Today I am going to show you three bows that you can create with your Envelope Punch Board and I've included tutorials for you. Here are the bows we will be making today:

If you don't have one of these boards yet, this was everything we made in my Punch Board Class a few weeks ago and I'll have more tutorials to show you later:

Here is the post that shows you close-up pictures: HERE  and a tutorial on how to create the camera card: HERE.

Okay, let's move on to the tutorial. Grab your punch board and follow me!

Step 1, Bow 1:

You will need 3 pieces of designer paper: (1) measuring 6" x 1", (1) measuring 3 1/2" x 1" and (1) 1/4" x 1 1/4".

Step 2:

Using your Envelope Punch Board, slide your 6" piece of designer paper in the cutter so that the edge of your paper is even with the "hole" on the left-hand edge. Just like the photo above.

Step 3:

Press on the button to punch and this is what your strip should look like.

Step 4:

Flip your paper over and repeat Step 2 & 3 so that both sides are punched.

Step 5:

Repeat on the other side so all four ends are punched and look like the photo above.

Step 6:

Position your paper at the 3" mark on your Envelope Punch Board and punch. Flip your paper over and repeat so that your paper strip looks like the photo below:

Step 7:

Using your Bone Folder, run it across both ends of your paper so that the ends curl.

Step 8:

Apply glue to the center of your paper and flip the ends so that they meet in the center. Press in place to form your bow.

Step 9:

Using designer paper piece #2, line up the paper at the 1 3/4" mark on your Envelope Punch Board and punch. Flip your paper over and repeat for the 2nd side.

Step 10:

Now you will create the tails at both ends. Center the end at the "hole" and punch. Repeat for side 2.

Step 11:

Apply glue to the center of your tail and press bow in place to layer as shown below:

Step 12:

Wrap the 1/4" each wide piece around the center of your bow and glue in place!

Bow #2:

Create all of the pieces as you did for the first bow as shown above. Wrap the 1/4" piece around the center of your bow.

For the tail, all you do is bend it to shape it as I show in the above picture and glue and layer the bow on top as shown below:

For bow #3, the only difference is the tail is longer. Instead of a 3 1/2" piece you will need a 5" piece and follow the steps for bow 1:

You will bend the tail as you did for bow #2 but bend it slightly more to create the look below:

Wrap your 1/4" piece around the bow and assemble your bow as your did for bow #2:

How fun and easy was that? You can make any color bow to match a card or a package! Next week I will be showing you how to make the cute little box!
